BridgeWays Deployment and Management Edition 2.0 (DME)

Xandros BridgeWays Deployment and Management Edition is an easy solution for deploying and managing Xandros desktops and servers across the enterprise. DME can remotely deploy one or many desktop and servers OS images over the network, greatly simplifying the deployment and update process, and saving time, money and valuable resources.

Rapid OS Deployment

Administrators can setup and configure a single Xandros Desktop or Server and take a snapshot of the OS and its configuration. Using simple wizards in the Xandros Management Console, administrators can deploy that snapshot to other machines on the network. Deployments can be scheduled to run unattended during off peak hours.

Additional Software and Updates

After the OS is deployed, administrators can use BridgeWays to push out additional Debian packages, applications and updates. DME maintains a local repository of software and packages, so your desktops and servers to not need to reach outside the corporate firewall for updates.
